Happy Birthday to Me!

I thought about writing a sappy post about turning 22, but woke up this morning and decided to just ENJOY the day. 22-- I have a feeling you're going to be the best yet and I cannot wait! It's almost 60* and sunny here today which puts an extra pep in my step!

Friday Five

Normally I'd be counting down the days to the weekend...but not this week! I want it to last as long as possible. I've been home on spring break and soaking up every minute of it. A few pick-ups off the bus for my cousins, a little bit of shopping, and of course squeezing in coffee dates with my besties before they headed back to school- precious, precious time. It's no secret that I love being home. Driving through my hometown makes me the happiest person, especially with the gorgeous weather we had this week! Thank you, God!!!!
| one | Trips to Ulta are always unexpected but always necessary. I always spend wayyyy too much $$$ so I usually avoid the store all costs. However, with my birthday coming up and no new make-up in far too long (over a year. yikes) I decided to splurge. There's still a few things on my wishlist but for now, here's what I took the plunge on!

| two | If you read THIS post, you'll know THIS song is on repeat even a week later. So much goodness in a few short minutes. 

| three | I snagged THIS DRESS for $36 earlier this week!!!! (Originally $90) It's definitely tight way too tight (ha!) so I'm going to continue working out so it fits! I dreaded the thought of trying to find a dress for graduation. I started my search very early and luckily, this one fell perfectly into my lap. Happy camper :) Loft for the win, AGAIN!! Did I ever tell you how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE that store?!

Birthday Wish list

With my birthday coming up soon (March 16th!) I thought it would be fun to share my wish list! Some years my list is overflowing and others I can barely find one thing to ask for! This year is closer to the latter :) 

After purchasing my first small Longchamp tote last fall, and using the bag (almost) every single day I decided my next purchase would be the larger tote, this color screams summer and i.love.it. bring on the sunshine and warm temps! 
What girl doesn't want a cute, but simple necklace from Kate Spade? 
Tracking food and exercise in the past month has become a favorite of mine and I think it would be fun to track calories burned (especially if I start running---who am i?!?! HA!)
A new pair of Ray-bans would be fun to add to my wardrobe!
Lara Casey is one of my biggest inspirations and I'm dying to read her new book!

Currently

Yesterday I woke up to a text saying University Park CANCELLED classes!!!! They haven't closed campus since 2007...8 years!!! I was glad they came to their senses because campus was covered in ice! My cozy apartment + Gilmore Girls was the perfect way to spend my Wednesday! 
Thanks to my unexpected snow day, I was able to catch up on some blogging :) I realized it had been far too long since I've done a "currently" post! They're some of my favorite posts to read! You get a different glimpse into a bloggers life which I think is kind of fun. 
Currently
on repeat... IT IS WELL- oh this song. I heard it a few days ago for the first time and I cannot stop listening. I don't think I can adequately describe the emotions I feel from listening. Grace. Faithfulness. Peace. In the recent weeks I felt so distant from the Lord and it has been so disheartening. Was I not praying right? Just so many things running through my head, and then this song was placed so gently in my lap, and I knew that was God-giving comfort in the simplest ways. How amazing is that?! Our God is always with us even when it doesn't feel it. Humbling experience.

missing... my gal pals + family 
day dreaming... of summer and warmer weather!! I need more vitamin D in my life! 
needing... a pedi,  haircut + my roots touched up aka a day of pampering would be divine
waiting...for an acceptance letter to grad school...someone take me, please!! 
craving... something new. a vacation, spring clothes, anything! 
reading... nothing. I hope to start Make It Happen by Lara Casey over break!
