Five on Friday | Christmas edition

*dusts off cobwebs* Hi, remember me? I'm Kate, the girl behind the blog! I feel like I need to reintroduce myself after the unintentional absence over the past month. It's been absolutely insane. School has been so demanding. I'm surprised I made it to the end of the semester! But here we are! And it's Friday and the start of Christmas break. Praise the Lord!! It's a very, very good Friday y'all!! Linking up with the Five on Friday gals and Karli!
one :: Yesterday I finished up all of my finals so the semester is officially over!!!!! Cue the biggest dance party (and glass of wine) EVER.  This semester was tough and to say that I'm happy to see it go would be an understatement!

two:: Am I the only one that can't believe Christmas is less than a week away!? I still have gifts to by and then wrap! Yikes :) But for now, I'm sharing my holiday favorites! Nativity: I have loved our nativity scene since my mom received it a few years ago. I love the simplicity and everything that is represented. It's amazing to look at it in complete admiration and peace. A definite piece I hope is passed down to me :) Mistletoe candle: obsessing over this yankee candle smell. can't.get.enough. Auntie Claus: my favorite childhood book. It's a great read leading up to Christmas, funny at times too! Movies: you can see the ones listed, and I cannot believe I forgot to add Christmas Vacation- alllll time favorite. can't get enough of that either!!

three:: Flannel sheets. I mean come on, is there really an explanation needed!? I snagged a pair (for my bed at school) on Black Friday for $15!!! I couldn't pass them up...it makes getting out of bed that much harder!

four:: My favorite view of downtown State College :) there's something magical about it! Trying to soak it all in for sure!

five:: Tomorrow we're celebrating our pre christmas eve tradition with my dad's family and I'm counting down the hours! It's so much fun full of laughter and relaxation. Then later that night we'll be cozied up watching Christmas Vacation- duh! Recap to come :)

What are your holiday favorites? Any fun plans this weekend?

Five on Friday | 12.12.15

Hi, friends! It's been a long while :) Happy Friday! I was hoping this week went fast and after Tuesday, it seemed to fly by! I'll take it. Let's get right to linking up!
One | Today I finished my last fall semester (classes) of my undergrad career. It hasn't really sunk in yet. But honestly, this semester has been one of the worst one's I've had so I can't say I'm too sad for it to be over! Just praying my finals go well...

Two | Cutest video ever. Michael Bublé and Idina Menzel collaborate on a holiday fave, Baby It's Cold Outside. It'll brighten your day and you can thank me later :)
Three |
Four |  I really can't think of anything else exciting going on in my life... I guess this is what pre-finals week does to your brain. Proceed to number five... but I can't promise that's any more exciting! Ha

Five | Some of my favorite links this week included...
35 Signs You were A Basic 2000s B*tch I definitely got a good laugh out of some of these... yikes! Those were the days..

Bald Cinderella Gave A Little Girl With Cancer The Surprise Of Her Life-This story is precious! Every little girl deserves to be treated like a princess and get the royal treatment
Have an awesome relaxing weekend! You can find me in Starbucks finishing up last minute study guide questions and (frantically) reviewing the acoustic impedance of speech sounds. Sounds fun, right?? Ha! Sensing some sarcasm? Sorry..! Really I do love my major, just ready to be done with this semester ;) The only thing standing between me and christmas break is 4 finals. Oy. #lifeofanSLP2b
